Amanda Harmon, LCSW LLC
Life is hard…You don’t have to carry this all on your own.
Throughout my career, I've worked in outpatient clinics, schools, higher education and nonprofits, gaining valuable experience in supporting individuals and families through various challenges. I have taken specialized trainings in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infertility, and in working with the LGBTQIA+ Community.
My approach utilizes many different therapeutic styles, but most importantly, relationship, warmth and humor. I work with my clients and create a space tailored around each person's individual needs and values. Together, we’ll focus on building resilience, finding balance, and supporting your well-being

PLEASE HEAR ME WHEN I SAY:
Being here doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re strong.
Taking the first step is always the hardest, but I am here to help you take it.
How I work
At the core of my approach to therapy is everyone needs to be seen and heard.
Having a nonjudgemental and supportive space to be yourself and feel heard, seen, validated and supported can be crucial to balancing the things outside of therapy. You cannot keep pouring from an empty cup…fill yours, let’s figure out how.
Therapy with me is…
-
I will work with you to develop the treatment plan that works best for your needs.
-
Sometimes therapy can be hard, it is a place where we can keep it real with each other, and that means being vulnerable.
-
I am not here to judge you, whatever you choices, I support your choice to make them.
-
I am here to help you be seen and see yourself. We can work on embracing that or changing the things that you want to change.
